Greenwich Police say that on Thursday, June 6 at 12:28 a.m., a vehicle traveling on Interstate 95 in Greenwich was observed with high beam headlights on failing to turn them off to passing motorists.
Police stopped the vehicle and an investigation revealed that it was not registered and that there was an infant in the back seat, according to the Greenwich Police Department.
According to police, the driver Jeb Douglas Fiorita displayed signs and symptoms of intoxication.
Police charged Fiorita, 45, of Stamford, with the following:
- Operating or parking an unregistered vehicle,
- Third-degree operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol,
- Improper multi-beam headlights,
- Risk of injury to a child.
Fiorita posted $250 bond and is due in Stamford court Thursday, June 20.
